Derek Warwick‘s determination led him to be spotted early on by major teams wanting him to race for them on the F1 circuit. The driver went on to race at 146 Grands Prix for Toleman, Renault, Brabham, Arrows, Lotus and Footwork, achieving four podium finishes. Warwick also made a name for himself outside the F1 circuit, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1992, the 1000 km of Brands Hatch and the 430 km of Nürburgring.
